Hello, long time no hear I know but I’ve been busy chasing fresh ideas around the frying pan. Some great news from Big Finish regarding Lonely No More. What a joy it was to realise this extremely ambitious idea and thanks to Audiama for giving me the opportunity to write it.
An extraordinary cast, a brilliant director and a stunning sound design all contributed to the continuing success of this podcast. We’re also lucky enough to get some amazing online reviews

This is so like John Wyndham, or Nigel Kneale’s last Quatermass series, but, it’s not, it’s Sebastian Baczkiewicz’s extraordinary gift for dialogue, fascinating us with character and deft expression of incident through nothing but that dialogue…

Lonely No More is one of the most captivating audio dramas I have experienced in years. From the opening moments, I was completely absorbed by its atmosphere, emotional depth, and cinematic sound design. The concept is strikingly original, a mysterious message that changes humanity forever, and Sebastian Baczkiewicz’s writing is nothing short of brilliant.
I was so impressed that I immediately bought the scripts after finishing the series. Reading them alongside listening revealed how finely constructed the dialogue and pacing are. Immense thought and artistry went into every detail.
Lonely No More deserves recognition as a benchmark for modern audio storytelling. It is imaginative, beautifully acted, and deeply affecting. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Five stars!

Amongst the acting talent on display are stars of The Inbetweeners, Broadchurch and, show of the moment, Slow Horses.
As for me I’ve loved attending my writing course at my City Lit evening class . As this has been a somewhat fallow period work wise it’s been great to be part of a supportive and very talented group of novelists and short story writers,
In other news the pilot script to Sky is now delivered so its fingers crossed the Sky gods go for it and I can move on to writing episode two. Oh, and here’s an enormous puppet I saw at a spectacular fireworks display in Cambridge. Thanks for reading. More news soon!
