Strudel in Springtime

Sunny season’s greetings at long long last. Never sure where to begin with these pesky old posts so let’s kick off with some huge thank yous. First up is the legendary Andy Brough from Schroders who generously gave me some insights into the mysterious practices of hedge fund management. An amazing couple of – slightly boozy – but fantastically informative and insightful hours followed. Thanks Andy. Never one to avoid playing both ends of the field I also had the great good fortune of meeting Reverend Emily Kolltweit Parish Priest of Saint Jude’s on the Hill in Hampstead Village. A wide ranging and fascinating conversation about Pontius Pilate prevailed. Emily’s done an amazing job at revitalising the architecturally stunning Saint Judes and turning it into a vibrant and welcoming community space. It’s well worth a visit. Thanks Emily – and thanks again for the delicious soup!
In other news I’m off to Berlin next week to discuss a project with the acclaimed director Tom Tykwer. More on that later but needless to say I’m stupidly excited. The last time I was over there Pilgrim won Silver at the Prix Europa. An unforgettable night I can’t quite remember.
